Hello GOABA Members!
The holiday season allows us to spend meaningful time with friends and family. It’s the season to take the time to appreciate the compassion, empathy, and love that is part of our lives. It’s a time for joy and gratitude. The holiday season is also the perfect time to appreciate the abundance of health, loved ones, and necessities of life.
As GOABA members. we want to honor the meaning of the holiday season and extend our time to individuals in senior living facilities. For older adults, certain life circumstances can make this time of year especially difficult for various reasons. We plan to provide holiday care gifts to 120 seniors at the West Orange Center located in Orlando. In addition, we would want members to participate in caroling and games with the seniors.
We understand this is a busy time for many. We are asking for GOABA members to join us Saturday, December 23, 2023. If you are able to come out to spread holiday cheer to the West Orange Center residents it will be a blessing.
